GetDoc, a healthcare innovation company is collaborating with Cyberview Sdn Bhd to onboard its services to clinics in Cyberjaya. This is in line with Cyberview’s Living Lab Pilot initiative, which aims to provide Cyberjaya as a sandbox for companies of various maturity levels to pilot their ideas and solutions in the city to meet the demands and needs of the community.
GetDoc started out as an appointment booking application for patients but have grown to offer other health related services such as multilingual health education portal, A-Z Health info, various preventive healthcare treats, health events and talks, healthcare IoT wearables, company healthcare management system, and more.
GetDoc launched GetDocPay three months ago, the healthcare startup’s cashless payment system for patients, in its bid to be the first-of-its-kind app in the healthcare industry offering a worry-free, hassle-free, cash-free and card-free experience for its customers. The aim in launching GetDocPay is to gradually do away with cash transactions in clinics.
“We believe that GetDoc and GetDocPay services will definitely improve the quality of life for residents and businesses in Cyberjaya; and will contribute to Cyberjaya’s smart city goals,” said Jerry Hang, Co-Founder and Country Lead, GetDoc Malaysia.
This recent collaboration is one of the many strategic collaborations that Cyberview Sdn Bhd, the tech hub enabler of Cyberjaya, is embarking on to promote a cashless society in the city.
“We at Cyberview acknowledge how we cannot embark on an ambitious plan like Cyberjaya’s transformation into a Global Tech Hub alone; hence our constant effort in working with the right partners to improve the quality of life for the people of Cyberjaya through solutions that feed into a smart city’s needs,” said Mohd Najib Ibrahim, Acting Managing Director of Cyberview Sdn Bhd.
According to Mohd Najib, Cyberview is committed to strengthening Cyberjaya’s smart city offerings to go cashless in line with the government’s push to reduce physical cash transactions.
“This collaboration with GetDoc is one of the many smart city solutions put in place to enhance the liveability of the community of Cyberjaya,” added Mohd Najib.
At roll out, 5 out of the total 23 clinics in Cyberjaya are successfully onboarded to the GetDocPay system. They are Poliklinik Gomez, Klinik Medik Perdana, Poliklinik An-Nisa, Brighton Healthcare, and The Cyber Sky Clinic.
This latest collaboration to promote cashless transactions comes after bike-sharing company Mobike expanded its service to Cyberjaya earlier this month, in a joint partnership with Cyberview and
Mastercard. Mastercard is integrating its digital payment service Masterpass with the smart bike’s mobile phone application.
Cyberview has been at the forefront of Malaysia’s development as a technological hub since its inception in 1996. Starting out as the developer of Cyberjaya, it has grown from strength to strength, until maturing into its current role as an enabler of global tech hubs.
